This page features PsyTek's Builds in Alphaworld. These builds are mostly large, architectural "sketches", with only small touches of landscaping and interior detail. There will be links to pages that highlight the works of other Alphaworld builders, many of which leave me awe-struck with their creativity and level of execution.

Listed on these pages are builds I have created, except where otherwise noted. At left is a swampland near a Gothic cathedral, castle and village. Beware of quicksand! You may sink below the water into a mysterious maze of caverns!

The NeoTechnic Era presents peculiar mystery. Advanced and modern architectures seem to morph with those of cultures far more primitive ... yet there seems to be evidence that the "primitives" adapted the structures long after the NeoTechnics had vanished.

The Cathedral and Castle are integrated around a multi-level courtyard, and surrounded by supporting craft shops and smaller village constructs. The area is bounded by a large swampland, mountains, and a lake (beyond the castle). The castle has many levels of passages - be careful not to get lost!.

Many of the cultures who have populated this continent provide clues to their perspectives on life by the prominent structures they have left behind. This "Temple" appears to have been built by a branch of the NeoTechnics, characterized by their love of circularity and openness in architecture, while also engaging in many "underground" connections that serve to link their far-flung outposts. Ocassionally, these passages lead to small intersections with the builds of other, more primitive cultures, in ways that are subtle and hidden. It seem they were designed to allow these NeoTechnics to "observe" or study the actions and movements of other contemporary cultures, while remaining largely unobserved themselves. What was their role in the history of this continent?

The Psychotechnic Research Center
This facility provides evidence of a culture far advanced of those populating the main continent. Situated offshore, it is divided into six large rings surrounding a major multi-ring structure and core control facility. The six remote sections each house "experiments" that reveal technologies little understood today. In particular, there is evidence of certain space/time distortion experiments. One is cautioned to proceed carefully in these areas, as one may get caught in an infinite regress warp.
